I wanted to write a short cosmic horror as a stepping-stone project. The protagonist honors the women putting their bodies on the line in the pursuit of adventure and science.

The tone and story are lifted from my recurring dreams. I want to try my hand at cosmic horror and explore a sound scape of internal body sounds. This short won the HG Wells Gold Award at LA Scifi festival in 2021.
